Jolly Fish Press, a publishing house based in Provo, Utah, opened its doors for submissions in October 2011.


With an editorial board consisting of a team of associate editors who’ve worked on editorial projects for Houghton Mifflin, Allyn & Bacon, Pearson’s Group, and Harper Collins to name a few, it is on the lookout for outstanding manuscripts with impeccable story-telling and writing.

Jolly Fish Press currently has forty amazing titles under its name scheduled for 2013 and 2014 releases, with its first three titles released during 2012.

What genres will Jolly Fish Press accept for submissions? They accept the following fiction genres:Literary fiction, fantasy, sci-fi, mystery, suspense, horror, thriller, children’s literature, YA, trade fiction. They also accept the following non-fiction genres: Motivational, self-help, biography, autobiography, memoir, recipe books, research.

What genres will Jolly Fish Press not accept for submissions? Children’s picture books, novellas, do-it-yourself, gift books, religious, romance.
