Today we have a guest blogger with us, Indie author Wynne Channing. I hope you enjoy getting to know more about her latest book I Am Forever, Book 2 in the What Kills Me series. You’ll find my review on Goodreads. Enjoy!!!

I Am Forever - lo-resLet’s say we handed out a “get to know you” questionnaire to some of the people in the vampire monarchy in the What Kills Me series by Wynne Channing. Here’s what they said:

Our main heroine, Zee:
What is your current state of mind? I. Am. Freaked. Out. I just spent the last several days running and fighting for my life after suddenly becoming a vampire. And now everyone is treating me like some saviour. Seriously. What the heck?
Tell us about your family. I miss my family so much. My mom, my dad, and my sister, Tiffany, I hope to see them again one day. Not sure how I would explain my fangs.
What is your most treasured possession? It was my camera. I wanted to grow up to be a photographer.
What is the thing you want most in this life? I want to do the right thing. I want to protect everyone that I love.
What/Who do you fight for? My family. And my undead family.

Our hero, Lucas:
What is your current state of mind? I need to get Zee as far away from the vampire monarchy as possible.
Tell us about your family. The monarchy murdered all of my family members, my sisters and my father. And my brother has joined their ranks. He is dangerous. We can’t trust anyone.
What is your most treasured possession? My sword. My father helped me create it.
What is the thing you want most in this life? To be able to protect my loved ones…though I’ve failed so many times.
What/Who do you fight for? Zee.

The Empress of the Vampire Monarchy:
What is your current state of mind? I must ensure the survival of our kind.
Tell us about your family. The Monarchy is my family.
What is your most treasured possession? Possessions are worthless.
What is the thing you want most in this life? To protect the monarchy and its children.
What/Who do you fight for? I fight for our future.

Check out the blurb for I Am Forever:

Axelia fought an army of vampires and survived. Once fated as the destroyer of the vampire race, she is now welcomed into the immortal empire and revered as a god.

But instead of relishing her victory, she faces a dangerous new world and an empire at war. Axelia is thrust into the position of supreme vampire and caught in the crossfire of battle. To make matters worse, her role alienates Lucas, the one vampire that she trusts.

Her power spawns evil enemies. And they know how to get to her — by hurting those whom she loves most.
